There is a set of stairs near our house where one can look out over this cornfield to Boundary Bay and when it's clear, in the distance, you can see Mt Baker. There is currently a plan to develop this field for industrial farming greenhouses. I hope it never happens and I wanted to paint it while it still blends into the rural lanscape that still surrounds our town.
5 1/2" x 5 1/2" Acrylic on Panel, 2018. Simple cream painted frame
