Morning Beach

This beautiful beach on Galiano Island is a lovely sandy crescent. This view looking across to Tsawwassen on the mainland, of the point with the resilient evergreen trees has always been a favourite of mine. Don't know if he's still there, but the beach also came with a little Jack Russell who liked to come down to check out visitors in a friendly way until he satisfied himself that you were ok to stay. This painting was the start of my relationship with the owner of Art and Soul on Galiano Island after she saw it on social media and invited me to show and sell with her.
